This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, shared exciting updates on the features that fans have been eagerly requesting for the game, shedding light on which of these will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative ability to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, will be further streamlined to make the process of creating zois even simpler, as emphasized by Kjun. Additionally, players will have the option to include their own pets within the game, although this feature will not be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to exercise a bit of patience, but it's worth noting that Kjun himself is a passionate animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this eagerly awaited feature.

The game will also feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions, this limitation is strategically implemented to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience. Moreover, InZOI will include gas stations and introduce more dynamic combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the slap mechanic showcased in early previews felt too shallow for players. Responding to this feedback, the game will now feature full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, enhancing the depth and engagement of the gameplay.

Lastly, InZOI will incorporate a tutorial to cater to the influx of newcomers expected to explore the game, demonstrating the developers' thoughtful approach to making the game accessible to players unfamiliar with the genre. This level of consideration certainly deserves praise.

As of now, Krafton is steadfast in their plan to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun not only highlights the team's dedication to incorporating fan feedback but also sets the stage for an engaging and immersive gaming experience.
