Magic: The Gathering just launched its Edge of Eternities set today, yet fans are already eager for news about the upcoming Spider-Man set. This release will be the second Universes Beyond collaboration of 2025, following June's record-breaking Final Fantasy set.
Although only a handful of cards have been revealed so far, we're seeing something fresh as Hasbro taps into the corporate synergy we all know so well.

A new collection of Marvel’s Spider-Man Marvel Legends figures is up for pre-order on Amazon, and the special part is that each one comes with its matching Magic: The Gathering card.
It’s a clever concept, but at $39.99 per set, they aren’t exactly affordable. Still, since there are no Commander Decks planned for the Spidey set, this could be a fun alternative for store displays. All of the included cards are foil, which is a nice bonus.

As expected, Spider-Man is part of the lineup. This Spectacular version features a battle-damaged look with a torn costume.
The card costs two mana, has Flash, and when sacrificed, it can grant flying to itself or give your other creatures hexproof and indestructible.

The other choices were a bit unexpected, we have to say. Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade shows Mary Jane in the suit, and her card has Vigilance. It can tap to boost artifact creatures or vehicles, or convert that power into card draw.

Next, Man-Wolf is a 4/4 Werewolf with Trample and a transformation ability. It’s a reprint of Ravager of the Fells, but with a Spider-Man theme.

Last but not least, Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer brings cards back from the graveyard and turns damage into power. The figure looks incredible, too.
