- PUBG Mobile launches its first asymmetric game mode: Unfail.
- Survivors must outrun a relentless Predator, or become the hunter yourself.
- This Dead by Daylight-inspired mode is live starting today.
One thing is certain about Krafton: they are not afraid to experiment. This was evident in their recent, surprising crossover with Skibidi Toilet. But beyond that headline-grabbing news lies the debut of their first asymmetric mode, Unfail.
In Unfail, one player assumes the role of a relentless Predator, hunting survivors across a tight, claustrophobic map. As a survivor, your objective is to complete tasks, repair terminals, evade the killer, and ultimately escape.
If this sounds familiar, you're right. This mode essentially puts a PUBG Mobile spin on the Dead by Daylight formula. Survivors can flip pallets to block the Predator's path and use various gadgets to slow them down—though never to eliminate them.

Killer moves
There is an ongoing debate about where inspiration ends and imitation begins. However, since the arrival of Dead by Daylight, countless games have adopted its format.
This move highlights PUBG Mobile's gradual evolution into a more versatile platform. Similar to Roblox, it pairs its core battle royale experience with an ever-expanding array of modes and concepts.
Given the game's bold collaborations and competition with platforms like Fortnite's Unreal Editor, a Dead by Daylight-inspired mode is perhaps one of the less surprising developments in PUBG Mobile lately.
