Rinascita is brimming with exciting discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that might initially seem daunting. Among these, Morph Paintings stand out, engaging players in two distinct puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are not only simple but also rewarding, especially if you're eager to gather extra resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Here's a concise guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and the steps to solve them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings involves a simple process: locate the correct painting and place it on the designated pedestal. Pay close attention to the descriptions on the pedestals, find the corresponding portrait, and use your Levitator utility to return the painting to its rightful spot. The game typically switches your equipped utility to the Levitator automatically; if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab/D-Pad Left.
Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
As part of the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower hosts a Morph Painting puzzle that you can solve by following these steps (use the large central painting as your reference point):
- Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
- Shift the painting behind the chairs on the right to the front-right position.
Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The Trials of Old quest requires you to navigate four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. Arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a story from left to right, as shown in the image above.
A handy tip: you'll know you've placed the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal if the frame illuminates after insertion. Use this visual cue to effortlessly solve the puzzle.
