Street Cricket Game Gully Gangs Hits Open Beta on Android

Playing cricket in narrow alleyways often proves more entertaining than traditional field matches – especially in India. Independent developer 5th Ocean Studios has launched its innovative cricket title Gully Gangs: Street Cricket in Open Beta for Android.

Not Your Average Cricket Sim

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket introduces 4v4 multiplayer cricket set in authentic Indian gullies (narrow alleyways). This marks the first street cricket game of its kind, capturing the true chaotic spirit of neighborhood matches with rooftop catches, obstructing scooters, and yelling neighbors complaining about broken windows. Players can also enjoy 1v1 matches for more intimate competition.

The game captures street cricket's raw energy through power moves, real-time voice chat with teammates, and classic cricket banter through emojis and psychological gamesmanship. Authentic Indian settings feature broken stumps, improvised pitches, and unpredictable ball physics from uneven walls.

Customization plays a major role - users can assemble their dream team and outfit players with streetwear-inspired gear through unlockable skins and accessories.

Open Beta Now Available

5th Ocean Studios has ambitious plans including new urban maps, seasonal outfits, competitive clan wars, and potential esports integration. The roadmap promises leaderboards, daily challenges, and structured crew battles.

Currently Android-exclusive, plans for iOS and Steam versions with full controller support and cross-platform play are underway. The Open Beta is now downloadable via Google Play Store.
