Kuro Games has released the highly anticipated Version 1.4 update for their open-world RPG Wuthering Waves, titled "When the Night Knocks" - a haunting update filled with illusionary mysteries. This major content drop introduces two new Resonators, fresh weaponry, expanded narrative elements, and thrilling events for players to explore.
Meet the New Resonators
The update introduces Camellya, an enigmatic five-star Resonator with a seductive charm, and Lumi, an adorable yet fiery four-star character. While Lumi will remain permanently available in the Afterglow Coral Store (at least until the next update), Camellya is exclusive to Phase I of the "End of the Lost Trailer" event.
New Weapons and Customization
Players can now wield the formidable five-star Red Spring and four-star Somnoire Anchor weapons. The update also introduces a weapon transmogrification system (called Weapon Projection) that allows visual customization of select weapons, including the new Somnoire Anchor and Formless Series armaments.
Explore the Dreamlike Somnium Labyrinth
The centerpiece of Version 1.4 is the revamped Somnium Labyrinth, a rogue-like challenge where every decision could mean triumph or disaster. The reworked Somnoire: Illusive Realms event presents a haunting experience as players navigate through unsettling dreamscapes while a mysterious entity warns of impending darkness.
Expanded Story Content
The update introduces "Forking Path Among the Stars," a new companion story that delves deeper into Camellya's character as she explores the Black Shores greenhouse. New enemies also emerge with the debut of the Phantom: Inferno Rider Echo.
