Pro Skater 3+4 Gets Rating in Singapore

by Daniel Apr 06,2026

The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake rumors just gained more fuel! Singapore's ratings board has officially rated "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for a planned 2025 release.

This highly anticipated compilation, bundling the next two mainline titles from the iconic skateboarding series, is reportedly targeting a wide range of platforms. The rating lists Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S as the intended systems for this THPS collection.

While official confirmation is still pending, a countdown timer discovered within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news is imminent. This countdown is set to conclude on March 4, 2025.

Adding to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself told Mythical Kitchen that he has resumed talks with Activision and confirmed they are collaborating on a project. Hawk assured fans, "It will be something the community will genuinely appreciate."

Following the widely acclaimed 2020 remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, a follow-up covering the third and fourth games seemed inevitable. Despite 3 and 4 being the obvious next choice, Activision integrated the original remake's developer, Vicarious Visions, into Blizzard in 2021, shifting the team's focus entirely to "Blizzard games and initiatives."

Tony Hawk revealed that the initial plan, "even up until the release day" of the 1+2 remake, was to immediately move forward with 3+4. However, after Vicarious Visions was absorbed, the publisher had to search for a new development partner.

“The reality was that [Activision] were trying to find another team to handle 3 + 4, but they didn't have the same level of trust in anyone else as they did with Vicarious,” Tony Hawk explained during a 2022 Twitch livestream. “They listened to pitches from other studios, asking, 'What would you do with the THPS title?' But they weren't satisfied with any of the ideas presented, and the project stalled.”

This leads to the central question: if a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake is indeed in development, which seems increasingly likely, who is behind it? The Singaporean ratings board only credits Activision as both the publisher and developer. All signs point to March 4, just next week, as the day we will finally get some answers.
