The Abyssal Dawn Has Begun in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
The update brings two new characters to the forefront. First, meet **Nerida – Styx Envoy**, equipped with an assault rifle. Her Ultimate ability is particularly notable as it continues to deal damage even when she's not actively on the field. Then there's **Nita – Pulse**, who focuses on thermal damage and wields a shotgun. Designed for players who thrive on skill-based gameplay, Nita introduces a thrilling new QTE mechanic.
Alongside these characters, new outfits have been added to enhance your visual experience. Nerida sports the **Dawn’s Command** outfit, while Nita dons the **Sylvan Spirit**. Nita also has access to the **Grove of Secrets** bundle, which includes an outfit, a weapon skin, and an interactive scene for a more immersive experience.
Other characters are getting new looks as well. **Katya – Dawnwing** is now seen in **Classy Elegance**, and **Bubu – The Geomancer** gets the **Vitality Checkup** outfit. **Fenny – Starshine** dazzles in **Nitro Nova**, and **Yao – Winter Solstice** sports **Tidy Marksmaid**, which is a redemption after her previous swimsuit outfit faced censorship.
Tons of Events to Explore
The update also introduces a variety of events to keep you engaged. Starting today, you can participate in **Pulse Puzzle**, a permanent event that lets you unlock Nita early by solving in-game puzzles linked to her backstory.
On April 28th, the **Emotional Purge** event begins, running until May 29th, 2025. This marks the debut of 3D cover shooter gameplay, featuring cover vaulting and smooth motion effects, adding a fresh layer of strategy to your gameplay.
From May 1st, **Nita’s Invitation** kicks off, another permanent event where you can unlock Nita's maxed-out Auctus Drive, her signature weapon, and a fixed-talent logistics squad at no extra cost.
