With its 3.5th anniversary on the horizon, Pikmin Bloom is gearing up to celebrate in a big way. The festivities will bring a nostalgic twist, as your Pikmin will don outfits inspired by Nintendo's iconic gaming hardware from the '80s and '90s, allowing players to reconnect with the classics in a unique way.
Starting May 1st, you can participate in event missions to unlock the Nintendo Game Consoles ’80-’95 Decor Pikmin. But the celebration doesn't stop there. In addition to the well-known gaming consoles, Pikmin Bloom is also paying homage to Nintendo's pre-video game era.
You'll have the opportunity to acquire the Playing Card (Clubs Suit) Decor Pikmin, which are themed around the original playing card decks that Nintendo produced during its early days as a physical toy manufacturer.
Push PlayWhile the new decor Pikmin inspired by Nintendo's classic hardware are likely to be the highlight for many, it's worth noting the irony that Pikmin, which debuted on the GameCube, won't be represented in this particular set of decor.
From May 1st to the 31st, make sure to engage in the event missions to collect Game Button Cells, which you can then use to grow the new decor Pikmin. Premium Event Pass holders can look forward to additional perks throughout the 3.5th anniversary event.
