This event promises a royal treat with the debut of Kingambit, along with costumed variants of Nidoqueen and Nidoking, and a bounty of other rewards to enhance your gaming experience.
Kingambit, known as the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its grand entrance during the Crown Clash event. To add this formidable Pokémon to your collection, you'll need to evolve Bisharp, but with a twist. Bisharp must be set as your buddy, and you'll need to triumph in 15 Raid Battles against Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon. Bisharp doesn't need to fight; just bring it along to collect those victories.
Adding to the excitement, Nidoqueen and Nidoking will don shiny new crowns for the occasion. You might even encounter their Shiny versions if luck is on your side. These royal Pokémon will headline three-star raids, while the one-star raids will feature Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.
In the wild, you'll encounter frequent spawns of Pokémon like Slowpoke (which may reward you with a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, offering additional chances to catch this Pokémon.

The event also offers double XP for evolving Pokémon, making it the perfect opportunity to evolve your Pokémon and earn those extra XP points. Engage in event-themed Field Research tasks and a catch-and-evolve Collection Challenge to earn more XP, Stardust, and another opportunity to catch Pawniard. Trainers at Level 31 and above can look forward to guaranteed Candy XL for evolutions upon completing the challenge.
