"Two GTA Games to Exit Netflix Next Month"

If you're a Netflix subscriber and enjoy playing Grand Theft Auto on Android via Netflix Games, brace yourself for some big changes. GTA III and GTA Vice City are set to exit the Netflix Games lineup next month.

Why Are These GTA Games Leaving Netflix and When?

This isn't a sudden decision. Just like movies and series, Netflix licenses games, and the licenses for GTA III and GTA Vice City are due to expire next month. You'll see a 'Leaving Soon' tag on these games as a heads-up before they depart.

These iconic titles joined Netflix Games a year ago under a 12-month agreement with Rockstar Games. Consequently, they will no longer be accessible to Netflix subscribers after December 13th.

If you've been indulging in the mayhem of GTA III or exploring the vibrant streets of Vice City on Netflix, now's the time to finish up your escapades. However, fans of CJ and the San Andreas crew can rest easy; their adventures aren't going anywhere just yet.

What’s Next for These Titles?

If you haven't completed these games yet, don't worry. You can purchase them from the Google Play Store. The Definitive Editions of Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City are available for $4.99 each, or you can snag the entire trilogy for $11.99.

Unlike Samurai Shodown V and WrestleQuest, which vanished from Netflix's roster last year without much warning, Netflix is giving players a heads-up about GTA's departure. It's interesting to note that Rockstar Games is choosing not to renew their license with Netflix Games, especially since the trilogy helped Netflix gain numerous subscribers in 2023.

Rumors suggest that Rockstar and Netflix might be collaborating on something new. We might see remastered versions of Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, and even Chinatown Wars in the future. Fingers crossed that these rumors come to fruition!
