Gacha game enthusiasts are always eager to keep tabs on the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest figures for January 2025 have now been released, shedding light on the earning trends in the genre.
Last month, Genshin Impact rolled out a significant update featuring the pyro archon, Mawuika, whose banner drew substantial interest. According to the data, miHoYo's (HoYoverse) flagship title saw its revenue soar to $99.4 million, a stark contrast to the $45.6 million it earned in December 2024.

In the rankings, Pokemon TCG secured the second spot with earnings of $64 million, while Love and Deepspace, often dubbed the "female gacha," claimed the third position with $55.2 million.
On the other hand, Honkai Star Rail experienced a dip in its earnings, reporting $50.8 million, whereas Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant decrease, with its revenue halving from $57.9 million to $26.3 million.
It's important to note that these rankings only consider earnings from mobile platforms. Some of these games, including those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. A key detail in the revenue calculations is that, due to the absence of Google Play in China, Android revenue estimates for that region are derived using a multiplier based on iOS earnings in the country.
