Spring Hunt 2025 Update Released for Monster Hunter Now!

As part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, Monster Hunter Now is set to launch a thrilling event called Spring Hunt 2025. This online paid event is scheduled to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. The highlight of this update is the focus on the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now requires an event ticket, which you can purchase from the in-game shop. This ticket unlocks a series of uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions exclusively featuring Chameleos. This means no waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, allowing for a continuous and thrilling hunting experience. Additionally, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear as a bonus.

The event also introduces Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be available during the Spring Hunt event. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During this period, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by slaying large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be traded for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your arsenal and gear.

Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?

Chameleos, renowned for its stealthy abilities and the mysterious fog it emits, which impairs visibility, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace head-on.

If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. To maximize your chances of success, equip weapons and gear that exploit Chameleos' vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to forge the new Mizuha Set armour, which features the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill not only halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you but also enhances your ability to poison your targets, making it a valuable addition to your hunting strategy.

The materials obtained from Chameleos can be used to craft a wide range of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. To prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025, download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and get ready to gear up for an unforgettable hunt.
