Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.
Pre-Season Sneak Peek:
Before Season 5 officially begins, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, marking its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. The season launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the Monster Hunter Now roster.
Weapon Enhancements:
Expect balance adjustments to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving tail-breaking efficiency. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will deliver more impactful results with well-timed inputs, creating smoother, more satisfying combos. The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other adjustments will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
More Season 5 Features:
A persistent inventory problem? Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.
Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th, a new material exchange feature will arrive. Hunters can trade special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
