Kojima Productions has officially announced the global launch schedule for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the next chapter in Hideo Kojima's open-world delivery adventure featuring Norman Reedus.
While the standard release begins at midnight local time this Thursday, June 26, players who purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition can start playing two days earlier on Tuesday, June 24.
Typically, we would include a helpful time zone map, but Kojima Productions has not released one this time. Fortunately, no complicated navigation is needed — the title unlocks for most at midnight in each region.
IGN's Death Stranding 2 review awarded it a 9/10, stating: "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a triumphant follow-up that fully realizes the vision of the original."
Additionally, Hideo Kojima is collaborating with A24 on a live-action Death Stranding movie, and an animated Death Stranding series is also in development. He is also working on a PlayStation-exclusive espionage action title, Physint, and described the forthcoming Xbox title OD as "a game I have always wanted to create."
