Nightdive Studios has revealed that its updated version of the 1999 sci-fi horror action RPG, previously titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, is now called System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. Additionally, the game is confirmed for release on Nintendo Switch.
System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is scheduled to launch soon on Windows PC via Steam and GOG, as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Here is the official description:
The year is 2114. You wake from cryosleep aboard the FTL starship Von Braun with no memory of your identity or how you got there—and something has gone horribly wrong. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots now roam the corridors, while the desperate cries of the remaining crew echo through the cold, metal halls. SHODAN, a rogue artificial intelligence determined to eradicate humanity, has seized control. It falls to you to stop her. Navigate the darkened passageways of the derelict Von Braun and lose yourself in its deep narrative atmosphere. Explore deck by deck to uncover the terrifying truth behind the fate of the ship and its crew.
According to Nightdive, a release date will be unveiled during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025, together with a new trailer.
