Peep Demo Theater Returns

MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by ESRB, confirming the return of the Peep Demo Theater, a feature originally found in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This feature allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the character EVA, but with her in her underwear. Players have the freedom to move and zoom the camera as they see fit. To unlock this mode, players need to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which requires completing the game four times.

The M rating for MGS Delta is expected due to its theme of an elite soldier combating special forces behind enemy lines, featuring violence and gore. However, the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, often dubbed "Creepy mode," was unexpected due to its explicit and controversial nature, which many fans did not anticipate would return.

Faster Camouflage System

In other exciting developments, MGS Delta introduces a significantly faster camouflage-changing system. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 showcased this new feature, allowing players to switch camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a vast improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a slow process that required pausing the game, navigating through menus, and selecting a new option. This enhancement promises to enhance the game's pacing and immersion, particularly during stealth sequences.

As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game is set to offer both returning features and quality-of-life improvements, promising an enriched playthrough experience.
