MCU Movies Ranked: A Tier List

by Penelope Apr 01,2025

With the release of *Captain America: Brave New World*, it's the perfect time to dive back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which now boasts an impressive collection of 35 films. Which MCU movie holds the top spot in your heart? Do you have a special fondness for the early origin stories like *Iron Man*, or do you thrill to the epic team-ups that concluded the Infinity Saga? Share your thoughts using our interactive tier list tool below.

There's a vast array of movies to choose from, and remember, we're focusing solely on films from Kevin Feige's MCU, so no Sony Marvel entries this time (apologies to the *X-Men* fans, except for *Wolverine*, of course). Here's a glimpse at my personal tier list, crafted based on my enjoyment over the years:

Unfortunately, *Captain America: Brave New World* didn't meet my expectations, landing in the D tier due to what I believe is the MCU's clunkiest script to date. My placement of *Deadpool & Wolverine* (2024) in the bottom tier might surprise some, but it simply didn't resonate with me. You can find my detailed thoughts on that here. However, I don't consider it the MCU's lowest point; that dubious honor goes to *Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania*, which easily slots into the D tier.

On the other end of the spectrum, the top tier is reserved for the five films I consider truly exceptional. Both *Captain America: Civil War* and *Winter Soldier* are S-tier for me, as they masterfully explore the emotional depth of the MCU and the thrilling world of espionage. *Thor: Ragnarok* stands out as one of the funniest films of the last decade, while *Avengers: Infinity War* and *Endgame* delivered a breathtaking conclusion to the saga's most crucial arc.

Do you disagree with my rankings? Perhaps you believe *No Way Home* is the pinnacle of the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy, or that *Black Panther* deserves an S-tier spot? Why not create your own tier list below and see how your S, A, B, C, and D tiers stack up against the IGN community?
