LEGO has unveiled an exciting lineup of nine new Star Wars sets, set to hit the shelves on May 1, 2025. These releases are timed to coincide with Disney's extensive celebration of May the 4th, famously known as Star Wars Day. LEGO traditionally marks the occasion with the launch of a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. In previous years, fans saw the release of Luke's X-Wing Starfighter in 2023 and the TIE Interceptor in 2024. This year, enthusiasts can look forward to Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, popularly remembered as Slave I among long-time fans. The name was officially changed to Firespray Starship in 2021 at Disney's request, a decision LEGO confirmed and which continues to be in effect.

The last major iteration of this LEGO starship was in 2019, featuring a 20th-anniversary set with 1007 pieces inspired by the ship's appearance in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The new 2025 version, boasting 2970 pieces, reflects the ship's look from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. This updated model is nearly three times larger than its predecessor, with dimensions of 7.5 inches in height, 17.5 inches in length, and 15.5 inches in width.
