As highlighted in their latest X (formerly Twitter) post, Hades 2 has been in early access since May 6, 2024. Supergiant Games celebrated this milestone by expressing gratitude to their fans and sharing their progress toward the full release.
Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"
The original Hades also followed a similar early access route, taking 22 months before its complete launch. Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to its full release more swiftly, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

In a segment of Nintendo’s Creator’s Voice video series, Supergiant announced that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the Switch 2 scheduled for release on June 5, fans can anticipate Hades 2's launch around the same time.
