The wait is finally over as Clash Royale introduces a game-changing Evolution for the fiery Inferno Dragon. After nearly a decade in the arena without an upgrade, this legendary card gets a complete glow-up to dominate the battlefield like never before. Supercell marked this momentous occasion with a hilarious reveal featuring Finnish comic Ismo Leikola.
Hollywood Comes to Clash Royale
A brand new trailer puts the nine-year-old Inferno Dragon front and center, with Leikola delivering a standout performance as its eccentric talent agent. The joke-packed short shows the draconic fighter trading royal battles for red carpet dreams.
The mischievous dragon abandons its combat duties in pursuit of Tinseltown fame, leading to a wild negotiation session at Supercell's headquarters you just have to see to believe.
This Evolution represents a seismic shift for the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Where the original version reset its damage buildup when switching targets, the evolved form maintains its terrifying heat escalation for devastating results.
Dragonfire Ignites New Season
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season brings scorching new content beyond just the Inferno Dragon's upgrade. The fan-favorite 2v2 League makes its return, letting players team up with friends or match with random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
Milestone Events unlock starting at Arena 7, rewarding dedication with 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics. Crown Chase events stack up more goodies, including special Battle Banners with decorative frames and additional Evolution Shards.
Special Dragon-themed modes will dominate the summer schedule. From Evolution Drafts to Inferno-exclusive Challenges and wild Evolution Mayhem allowing four evolved cards per deck, there's no shortage of ways to harness this fiery power. The action culminates with Evolution Bonanza in early July, where players can mix up to eight evolved cards in one deck for truly explosive gameplay.
