Announced back in June 2020 with periodic teasers, skate. is finally opening its playtesting phase for PlayStation and Xbox players. While PC beta testing hasn't been confirmed yet, fans can still register as Insiders for future updates.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting may have been running discreetly since last December—possibly even September, as hinted in a highlights reel. Developer Full Circle continues welcoming new playtesters as active development progresses.

Skate. Playtesting Registration Now Open

For those eager to experience the beta, visit EA's official website and navigate to Skate's page to register as a Skate Insider Playtester. Early testers will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers, when Early Access launches.

Skate. is scheduled for Early Access release in 2025, marking the franchise's return after nearly a decade since Skate 3. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, set in the fictional San Vansterdam. Designed as a free-to-play live-service title, it promises to bring an authentic evolution to the nearly 20-year-old series, as revealed by Full Circle in previous YouTube interviews.
