The South Korean regulator GRAC has recently assigned an age rating of "19+" to the highly anticipated game, *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. This rating is attributed to the game's content, which includes "excessive violence," "excessive profanity, profanity and swearing," and scenes depicting the use of various illegal substances. This classification indicates that the game is intended for mature audiences.

In related news, the visionary game creator Hideo Kojima recently expressed his gratitude to actress Shiori Kutsuna for her contributions to *Death Stranding 2*. Kojima presented her with flowers to commemorate her completion of work on the project. Kutsuna's dedication was evident as she navigated the challenges of the global pandemic to perform motion capture in Los Angeles, undergo 3D scanning, and provide voice recordings in both Japanese and English across various locations. Her involvement in the project dates back to the fall of 2022, showcasing her commitment to the game's development.

At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Hideo Kojima unveiled new material for *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. The presentation featured several two-minute cutscenes that introduced key characters and their roles within the game's narrative. Among the characters showcased were Tarman, portrayed by George Miller, who serves as the captain of the mobile base Magellan navigating tar lakes, and Dollman, played by Fatih Akin, a living doll and former medium who has lost his human form. Additionally, Léa Seydoux reprises her role as Fragile, while Elle Fanning introduces a mysterious character named Tomorrow, discovered in a setting reminiscent of the realm of the dead. This ties back to the original game's tagline, "Tomorrow is in your hands."

One notable cutscene featured characters singing the iconic song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, engaging in conversation with a pregnant woman named Rainy, portrayed by Shiori Kutsuna. This scene highlights the game's blend of emotional depth and narrative complexity, further raising anticipation for its release.
