Heads up: the popular music streaming service Spotify experienced an outage this morning.
According to Downdetector, reports of Spotify outages began around 6 a.m. PT today, and the issues persisted throughout the morning. Many users, including our team at IGN, faced difficulties accessing the service. Even when we managed to open the app, it failed to play music.
Spotify has officially acknowledged the problem and is actively working to resolve it as soon as possible. The company has also debunked rumors, confirming that the outage is not related to a security hack.
