Marvel Rivals has unveiled the first official artwork of the iconic vampire hunter, Blade, as part of its ongoing Midnight Features event quests. This exciting reveal hints at Blade's potential debut as a playable character in the upcoming Season 2. As Season 1 progresses, players are diving into new maps, a fresh game mode, and a battle pass packed with enticing cosmetics.

The Midnight Features quests are accessible within the Season section of Marvel Rivals' menu, structured into five chapters, each containing three quests. Players can earn valuable rewards such as Chrono Tokens, Units, and a free Thor skin by completing these quests. Although some challenges are currently time-locked, all chapters are expected to be fully available by January 17.

A highlight of the event is the reward for completing Chapter 3—a Gallery Card showcasing a thrilling confrontation between Season 1's antagonist, Dracula, and Blade. While rumors about Blade's inclusion have circulated since his character model was discovered in the game files, this official artwork marks the first confirmation from NetEase Games of Blade's presence in Marvel Rivals. The Season 1 storyline reveals that Dracula has strategically removed Blade and Doctor Strange from the battlefield, viewing them as significant threats to his plans.

Marvel Rivals Reveals Official Artwork of Blade in Season 1

The inclusion of Blade in the game's artwork has sparked speculation that he might make his playable debut in Season 2. Many fans theorize that Season 1 could conclude with The Fantastic Four thwarting Dracula's plans to save New York City, along with Blade and Doctor Strange. Discussions among the community often focus on Blade's potential role, with a consensus leaning towards him being a formidable Duelist. Leaks suggest that Blade will have a transformation ability in Marvel Rivals, similar to the ultimate abilities of Magik and Hulk, enhancing his strength, altering his attacks, and granting him the power to see enemies through walls.

Blade isn't the only character generating buzz, as Ultron's full ability kit was leaked during Season 0. It's speculated that Ultron could be introduced as a Strategist, capable of providing healing and support to his allies. Originally thought to debut in Season 1, it now seems NetEase Games has shifted its plans with the introduction of The Fantastic Four. While leaks can be insightful, it's important to approach them with caution until official confirmation. The promise of new content has left the Marvel Rivals community buzzing with anticipation for what's to come.
