Surprise! Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones has made its debut in the Nintendo Switch Online game collection.
Originally launching on Game Boy Advance in 2004, The Sacred Stones arrived internationally in 2005. This standalone adventure follows twin royals Eirika and Ephraim as they battle to reclaim their kingdom of Renais while uncovering shocking betrayals.
For many players, this marks their first chance to experience The Sacred Stones - not only is it two decades old, but it was only the second Fire Emblem title localized internationally and the final GBA installment.
We rated Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones highly with an 8.5/10 score back in 2005, praising: "This sequel builds upon the original Fire Emblem much like Advance Wars 2 improved its predecessor. While maintaining the excellent GBA strategy combat from 2003, it delivers a completely fresh narrative experience."
