The second part of the latest Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now in full swing, offering fans a chance to dive back into the excitement. Running until February 21st, this event introduces an array of new accessories and missions for players to collect and complete, making it a must-attend for enthusiasts of the game.
If you're a fan of Chimchar, you're in for a treat. The event brings new Chimchar-themed accessories, including a Pokemon coin, card sleeve, and playmat featuring Chimchar and its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. Personally, while I find Chimchar charming, it doesn't quite make it into my top 100 favorite Pokemon. Still, these new items are a great addition for fans of the fiery monkey. For those less enthused by flaming primates, there's also a new Poke Ball avatar icon available. While it might not excite everyone, it's a classic choice that could fit nicely into any collection. As for me, I'll be sticking with my knitted Electrode avatar until something more captivating comes along.
It's Monkey Business in Pokemon TCG Pocket
The missions in this event are straightforward and rewarding. To complete them, you'll need to achieve six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type cards. Each Wonder Pick will earn you 100 Trade Tokens, while completing the other missions will net you varying amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and a good stock of Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly wrap up these tasks. If you've missed the start of the event, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part, including a Chimchar backdrop and cover, a Cave of Crystals backdrop, and promo cards featuring Chimchar and the adorable Togepi, are still available until February 21st.
