Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Streamlines Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that simplifies camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly reduces the grind towards coveted camos like Dark Matter and Nebula.
The Camo Challenge Tracker allows players to manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges for easy, in-game monitoring. No more tedious menu navigation to check progress! The system also proactively alerts players to near-completion challenges, even those not actively tracked.
How to Track Challenges:
To add a challenge, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). Track your progress live during matches, eliminating post-game analysis. Untracked challenges nearing completion will also be displayed. The Daily Challenges section in the lobby provides a comprehensive list of near-complete camos and calling cards.
Improved Camo Unlocking:
Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.
This update addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's response enhances the overall Black Ops 6 experience, making camo acquisition more manageable and enjoyable.
