Aquarion Tribe Dominates Polytopia, Crowned Thalassic Kings

Midjiwan has unleashed a significant update for The Battle of Polytopia: a complete overhaul of the Aquarion Tribe. This marks a substantial refresh for the game's first special tribe, originally introduced in 2017.

Aquarion's Aquatic Transformation

The Aquarion units have received a dramatic makeover. Land units now boast mermaid tails, granting them amphibious capabilities. They move effortlessly across water but are slower on land. This update also introduces flooded terrain, allowing land and naval units to occupy the same spaces for the first time.

The Aquarion's aquatic theme extends to their buildings. Construction on water is now possible, with Lost Cities nestled within deep-sea ruins, providing ideal strategic bases. A new structure, the Atoll, connects water cities, eliminating the need for roads. Aqua Crops, a crucial element, are permanently integrated into the Aquarion's arsenal, functioning similarly to land-based crops.

New Aquatic Combatants

Prepare to encounter new marine adversaries. Sharks provide surprise attacks, puffers unleash long-range bombardments, and jellies deliver electric shocks. Returning favorites, the Tridentions and Crabs, also feature enhancements; Crabs now flood the tiles they traverse, synergizing perfectly with the mermaid-tailed troops. See it in action!

Revitalized Aquarion Tribe

Midjiwan's update breathes fresh life into the Aquarion Tribe. Note that Lost Cities appear at level 3 and include an initial wall.
