This tier list encompasses series associated with Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard, requiring more than one entry to qualify (sorry, Indiana Jones!). Note: this isn't an exhaustive list of every Xbox game series, but focuses on current relevance and historical impact.
Below is a personal tier list based on years of gameplay experience:
Doom easily earns an S-tier ranking; recent entries are among my favorite first-person shooters, and Doom: The Dark Ages suggests id Software's continued excellence. Forza Horizon also receives an S-tier placement—arguably the best racing games ever created, rivaled only by Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge. Halo's A-tier ranking might surprise some. While Halo 2 and 3 boast exceptional campaigns, recent inconsistencies prevent a higher placement. Personally, I'm a Fallout fan over Elder Scrolls; power armor trumps dragons any day!
