Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Detailed
NetEase Games has unveiled a comprehensive developer update outlining the exciting additions and balance adjustments arriving in Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST.
This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. The initial launch will feature Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later. A new battle pass, costing 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.
Significant balance changes are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards, such as Captain America and Venom, will receive buffs to improve their effectiveness. Further adjustments will boost Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic use of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger will also see improvements to facilitate diverse team compositions. Finally, adjustments to Jeff the Land Shark are planned to better align his early warning indicators with his ultimate ability's hitbox. While Jeff's ultimate's power level is under review, no major changes have been announced yet.
While NetEase Games remained silent on potential alterations to the Seasonal Bonus feature, the community anticipates changes to hero bonuses. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating significant player anticipation for the launch.
