The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) is officially underway, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor field vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. The Open Qualifiers, which commenced February 13th, provide a crucial pathway for aspiring talent to break into the international PUBG Mobile esports scene.

This year's PMGO Open Qualifiers are exclusively open to amateur teams, guaranteeing a spotlight on fresh talent. Teams must navigate multiple qualifying rounds to earn a place against established esports organizations. Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2.

Upcoming weeks will see intense competition as teams fight for spots in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll clash with top performers from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers. Twelve teams will ultimately emerge to challenge the world's best professional PUBG Mobile players in the Main Event.

Four professional teams – Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage – have already secured their Main Event berths based on their stellar PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament kicks off a jam-packed year for PUBG Mobile esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC also on the calendar for 2025.
