Exciting new features include extensive naval combat. Players will be able to design and customize their own ships, echoing the ship customization in Starfield. These vessels will unlock exploration of coastal areas, previously unseen islands, and even underwater environments. Classic elements return as well, with the iconic dragons making a comeback.

Expect roughly 12-13 major cities, along with systems for establishing and managing settlements and defensive structures. Bethesda's improved Creation Engine promises reduced loading times and enhanced performance.

Character progression will be streamlined, moving away from rigid class systems. A more fluid system prioritizing natural character development and enhanced combat mechanics is anticipated, reflecting Bethesda's focus on player agency and accessibility.

According to the insider, Microsoft aims for a July 2025 announcement. While details remain unconfirmed, anticipation is high for what is poised to be a landmark release in the gaming world.
