Unlocking the Sparkling Stellar Fruit in Infinity Nikki: A Comprehensive Guide
Infinity Nikki's vast array of stylish outfits requires a dedicated search for crafting materials across Miraland's diverse regions. While some materials are readily available, others, like the elusive Stellar Fruit, demand specific timing and location. This guide details how to acquire this shimmering ingredient.
Locating Stellar Fruit in the Wishing Woods
Stellar Fruit is a semi-rare crafting component exclusively found within the Wishing Woods. Access is granted upon story progression, typically around Chapter 6, after completing the Abandoned District storyline. After assisting Timis in clearing the path to the Wish Inspection Center, the hunt begins.
Nighttime Harvest: The Chronos Trees
Crucially, Stellar Fruit only appears at night on unique Chronos Trees. During daylight hours, these trees bear Sol Fruit. To efficiently acquire Stellar Fruit, utilize your Pear-Pal's "Run, Pear-Pal" function to fast-forward time to 22:00 (the start of nighttime). Locating a daytime Sol Fruit tree allows for immediate nighttime harvesting.
Collecting the Fruit
Each Chronos Tree yields up to three Stellar Fruits. These can be collected by jumping or by "Pushing" the tree to drop the fruit. Swift action is needed, as Maskwing Bugs attempt to steal the fallen fruit. Prioritize collecting the fruit carried by the bugs, then utilize your Bug-Catching outfit to capture the insects themselves.
Utilizing the Map for Efficient Gathering
Once you've found your first Stellar Fruit, leverage your in-game map for efficient tracking. Navigate to the "Collections" tab (bottom-left corner), locate Stellar Fruit within the Plants category, and select "Track." This highlights nearby Stellar Fruit locations. With a sufficiently upgraded Collection Insight, you can also gather Stellar Fruit Essence.
The above map showcases all known Stellar Fruit locations in the Wishing Woods, helpful if Precise Tracking remains unlocked.
Alternative Acquisition: The In-Game Store
Alternatively, the in-game Store's "Resonance" tab offers Stellar Fruit (up to 5 per month), but requires Surging Ebb currency (obtained from duplicate 5-Star clothing). This method is less efficient due to the scarcity of Surging Ebb.
Remember to collect other limited-time items during your exploration, such as Pink Ribbon Eels, available only during the Shooting Star season (V.1.1).
