Low-Budget Repairs, a 1990s-themed repair simulator, is finally opening its doors (or rather, patching its leaky ones) to beta testers! The game, which initially captivated audiences with a single, highly anticipated trailer, will launch its Steam beta on March 3rd. While participation is limited, interested players can apply for a chance to experience the unique gameplay.
This two-week beta test will provide valuable feedback to the developers, Gray2RGB. Testers will be tasked with identifying and reporting bugs, and completing a post-trial questionnaire.
Step into the shoes of a 1990s Polish entrepreneur running a decidedly "low-budget" repair business. Expect chaos: duct tape fixes leaks, paint splatters adorn the walls, bricks seal windows, and cat doors are fashioned from sawed-off doors. But hey, there's always beer!
Your duties as a "repairman" will include:
- Tackling a variety of room repairs and issues, from rescuing flooded bathrooms to complete apartment renovations.
- Employing the cheapest (and often most questionable) methods: thinning paint, tile-laying without a level, and the occasional furniture-ejection.
- Sourcing bargain-bin tools from hardware stores – expect hammers that break easily and drills with a penchant for mid-operation explosions.
- Ignoring customer preferences completely – payment is guaranteed regardless of the repair quality!
Don't miss your chance to participate in the beta! Apply now for a chance to experience the uniquely chaotic world of Low-Budget Repairs.
