This guide details everything you need to know about purchasing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PC, including where to buy it, pre-order bonuses, save data bonuses, and a comparison of the different editions.

Where to Buy Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PC

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will not be available on GOG.

Pre-Order Bonuses & Save Data Bonuses

Pre-Order Bonuses

Pre-ordering before January 23rd, 13:59 (UTC) grants:

  • Summon Materia: Moogle Trio
  • Armor: Shinra Bangle Mk. II
  • Armor: Midgar Bangle Mk. II

Note: These items may be sold separately later. A 30% pre-order discount is also available until the release date.

Save Data Bonuses

Save data from Final Fantasy VII Remake unlocks bonuses:

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake main campaign save data unlocks Leviathan summoning materia.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission DLC save data unlocks Ramuh summoning materia.

These bonuses require using the same account and having save data on the same PC.

Different Editions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Explained

Two editions are available: Standard and Digital Deluxe.

Standard Edition

The Standard Edition ($69.99, $48.99 with pre-order discount) includes only the base game and the Posh Chocobo summoning materia (included in both editions).

Digital Deluxe Edition

The Digital Deluxe Edition ($89.99, $62.99 with pre-order discount) includes:

  • Base game
  • Digital Art Book
  • Digital Mini Soundtrack
  • Summon materia: Magic Pot
  • Accessory: Reclaimant Choker
  • Armor: Orchid Bracelet

Digital Deluxe Upgrade

A $20 upgrade is available for Standard Edition owners to obtain the Digital Deluxe Edition content.

Is the Digital Deluxe Edition Worth It?

The extra content in the Digital Deluxe Edition may not justify the extra cost for most players. The additional in-game items are minor bonuses. The Standard Edition is likely the better value for budget-conscious gamers.
