HoYoverse has unveiled details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, "Among the Forgotten Ruins," launching March 12th and bringing a thrilling new chapter to New Eridu. This update significantly expands the story and introduces exciting new characters and gameplay features.
What's Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?
Version 1.6 plunges Proxies into a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, forcing them to compete for a mysterious artifact linked to the Sacrifice. Adding to the intrigue, the Mockingbird phantom thief syndicate attempts to sabotage the Mayor's plans. Other factions also vie for control of the artifact, creating a complex web of alliances and betrayals. Meanwhile, Hugo and Vivian's suspicious behavior leaves players questioning their loyalties. Version 1.6 also introduces Anby Demara, a new S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. Formerly known as Soldier 0, leader of Silver Squad, Anby wields dual swords, unleashing devastating electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent and ace sniper from Obol Squad. Trigger utilizes Sniper Mode to evade attacks and deliver precise shots, setting up teammates for Quick Assists.
Returning Favorites and New Challenges
Several fan-favorite characters return, including Pulchra Fellini (A-Rank Physical Stun Agent), Burnice (S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent), and Zhuyuan (S-Rank Ether Attack Agent), all featured in rerun banners. A new boss, Geppetto, enters the fray in Hollow Zero.
The update also introduces Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, testing even the most seasoned players. A new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds dynamic effects to each battle stage, such as damage boosts based on accumulated coins.
New gameplay experiences include Trigger's TV Schedule, offering third-person sniper missions, and "March On, Tiny Titan!", letting players control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges. "Little Knight's Big Charge" tasks players with guiding a Bangboo through ten trials to earn rewards, including Pulchra as a playable agent.
