The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place across three international cities in May and June 2025:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

January Events: Fashion Week & Shadow Raid Day

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over (January 15th - 19th, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm local time):

• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai (hatchable from 12 km Eggs).
• Appearances of Shadow Snivy, Tepig, and other Shadow Pokémon.
• Snapshot encounters with a fashionably dressed Croagunk.

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh (January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time):

• Five-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh.
• $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Opportunity to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
