R.E.P.O. Teammate Revive Guide

Gaming with friends elevates the experience, but sometimes one player falls behind. In a challenging title like R.E.P.O., any squadmate can suddenly become the weakest link when facing formidable monsters. Here's how to bring your teammates back to life after they're defeated in R.E.P.O.

At the start of each R.E.P.O. round, your health begins at 100. This can be depleted by monster attacks or even friendly fire from items like Human Grenades. To recover health, use Health Packs found at the Service Station. You can also share health with teammates by approaching them and interacting with their health bar—an innovative feature that more games should adopt.

Even with multiple ways to maintain your health, the monsters in R.E.P.O. can become increasingly aggressive and eliminate squad members. When a teammate dies, their head drops to the ground for retrieval. Locate it by checking the area where they fell or using the map, which marks the head's position with a colored icon matching their character. Finding the head, however, is only the first step.

Where to Revive Fallen Teammates

Once you have the head, carry it to the extraction point. Place it there, and provided you've met the round's loot requirement (shown in the top-right corner), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to regain additional health and rejoin the fight. If retrieving the head isn't possible, there's another revival method.

If you can't reach a teammate's head, simply starting a new round will also revive them. This system functions similarly to Call of Duty Zombies, where fallen players return at the start of the next round. While this leaves you short-handed temporarily, it can sometimes be strategically beneficial—especially for newer players who can learn by observing experienced teammates in action.
