Overwatch 2 Unveils Exciting New Collaboration

by Claire Mar 28,2025

After an exciting two-year journey since their debut, the acclaimed Korean K-pop sensation, Le Sserafim, is set to make a spectacular comeback with a unique collaboration event in Overwatch 2. This event is scheduled to kick off on March 18, 2025, and promises to bring fresh content and exclusive skins to the game's fans.

As part of this thrilling new event, a selection of heroes in Overwatch 2 will be adorned with skins inspired by Le Sserafim. Ashe's loyal companion, B.O.B., will transform into a guard reminiscent of the group's past music video, adding a unique twist to her gameplay. Additionally, Illari, D.Va (marking her second skin collaboration with the group), Juno, and Mercy will also receive stunning new looks, all meticulously crafted by Blizzard's Korean division. What makes this collaboration even more special is that the heroes chosen for these skins were personally selected by the members of Le Sserafim themselves, based on the characters they enjoy playing the most in Overwatch 2.

In addition to the new skins, fans can look forward to recolored versions of last year's skins, offering even more variety and customization options. The event not only celebrates the synergy between the worlds of K-pop and gaming but also showcases Blizzard's commitment to creating culturally resonant content.

The new installment has introduced several updates, including a PvE mode with story missions (which has faced some challenges), enhanced graphics, and a roster of new heroes. Recent announcements from the developers have highlighted significant changes, such as the return to the 6v6 format, the introduction of a new perk system, and the reintroduction of the beloved loot boxes from the original game. These updates demonstrate Blizzard's ongoing commitment to improving and expanding the Overwatch 2 experience for its dedicated player base.
