How to Solve All Password and Padlock Combinations in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage currently features three lock-related puzzles in Tape 1. Should additional puzzles arise in Tape 2, slated for release in April 2025, this guide will be updated accordingly.
If you miss solving a puzzle, such as the Corey and Dylan love lock in Tape 1, don't worry. You can revisit any scene using the Scene Selection menu. Utilize Collectible Mode to gather missed items without disrupting your story progression.
Corey and Dylan Lovelock in Scene 10 (Lights, Camera, Action!)
The first padlock puzzle appears in Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!'. After completing the Forest Girls Memoir in the initial area, proceed through the park by navigating between two large boulders.
As you continue, you'll encounter a wire fence adorned with love locks, one belonging to Corey and Dylan. To unlock it playfully, you'll need a four-digit combination. However, you won't find the hint for this until Scene 24 at the end of Tape 1.
In Scene 24, while searching for the Blue Spruce Bar Gate padlock solution, inspect Corey’s Bag on his bike in the parking lot. Inside, you'll discover a Polaroid photo with a caption indicating Corey and Dylan’s anniversary on August 27, 1994. This date is your key to the lock.
Return to Scene 10 using the Scene Selection Menu and enter the code 0827 at the fence. This will unlock the padlock and earn you the hidden ‘Heartbreak’ achievement/trophy.
Cabin Padlock in Scene 13 (Cabin in the Woods)
The second padlock puzzle is in Scene 13 of Tape 1, 'Cabin in the Woods'. As the girls explore a mysterious cabin, Swann needs to unlock the front door to progress. Start by examining the Old Sheet on a wooden beam behind you for visual hints on the lock's four dials. The first dial is already solved, leaving three more to find.
For the second symbol, head to the kitchen and pull the rope handle to open the trapdoor to the attic. Once inside, turn around to see a crescent moon symbol on the far wall.
For the third symbol, still in the kitchen, look at the leftmost can on the stove, which is covered in spider webs. Flip it over to reveal a leaf symbol on the bottom.
The fourth symbol is found by examining the bear trap on the back wall. When it snaps shut, you'll see a star symbol etched on the wood behind it.
With all symbols collected, return to the front door and input them into the padlock. This will unlock the door, allowing the story to progress.
Blue Spruce Bar Gate Padlock in Scene 24 (Riot Grrrls)
The final padlock puzzle is in Scene 24 of Tape 1, 'Riot Grrrls'. As the girls prepare for a concert at Blue Spruce Bar, they need to find a power source. Follow Autumn and Kat to the gate on the left side of the parking lot, where you'll find a padlock requiring a sequence of cardinal directions.
The solution is nearby. Check Corey’s bike in front of the bar and look inside the bag. You'll find a Pager with a slip of paper under its clip. Flip the paper over to reveal a sequence of arrows, which is your solution to the lock.
Return to the gate and input the sequence to unlock it, granting access to the bar's employee area where you can find essential items like the Extension Cord, Power Outlet, and the Breaker Panel puzzle to restore power.
