Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! Launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls introduces the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, alongside new maps, a fresh game mode, and a revamped battle pass.
A new gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's unique abilities. Her attacks combine damage and healing, while a knockback ability keeps enemies at bay. Her signature invisibility, along with a double jump, enhances mobility. She can also deploy a protective shield for allies and unleash an ultimate ability creating a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, demonstrating a blend of Duelist and Vanguard capabilities in a recent trailer. His stretchy attacks and defensive buffs make him a formidable presence.
While Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in Season 1 (a planned mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch), the absence of Blade, despite data leaks suggesting his inclusion, is a slight disappointment for some fans. Dracula, however, takes center stage as the main antagonist for this season.
Despite this, anticipation remains high for the new content, with players eager to experience the expanded roster and gameplay mechanics. NetEase Games plans for full seasons to last approximately three months.
