Event Entry Requirements:
To participate in Exercise Surging Storm, you need:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue.
Begin the event at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in Mondstadt.
Gameplay Overview:
The event features in-game tutorials. Here's a simplified explanation:
Before each wargame, select Combat Units (your troops) and Stratagems (buffs). Units have various types (AoE Damage, Flying, Ranged, Melee) with type-based counters (e.g., Melee strong against Ranged). Review your opponent's lineup and adjust yours using the bottom-right effectiveness diagram. Note that lineup changes cost Reinforcement Points.
Unit Roles:
- Melee Units: High damage absorption, slow speed.
- Ranged Units: Long-range attacks, low health.
- AoE DMG Units: Damage multiple units simultaneously.
- Flying Units: Evade ground attacks, immune to certain damage types.
Level up units by re-selecting them in subsequent rounds. Refresh Combat Units and Stratagems for better options. Elemental Reactions function as in the overworld; strategize accordingly.
Even losses earn Wargame Medals, redeemable for rewards. Wins yield more medals, but consistent participation guarantees rewards, albeit at a slower rate.
Rewards:
