Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, renowned for their Construction Simulator series, and publisher astragon have unveiled their latest project, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. This upcoming simulation game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, immerses players in the life of a firefighter. Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can expect to engage in a variety of firefighting activities, including rescuing trapped citizens, tackling electrical fires, managing flammable liquids, and handling dangerous situations like grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. The game also supports four-player co-op, allowing friends to team up and fight fires together.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite promises to deliver realistic physics for fire, smoke, and heat, enhancing the authenticity of the firefighting experience. The game will feature "officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from industry-leading brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL," including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, as well as personal protective equipment. Additionally, players will have access to "authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America, such as the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, or the brand-new RTX," further adding to the game's immersive quality.

Players will have the ability to customize their characters, adding a personal touch to their firefighting experience. The Extended Edition of the game offers additional perks, including a Dalmatian dog for your firehouse.
