Valve continues to surprise us with regular updates for Deadlock, and the latest patch, though small, has made significant changes to four heroes.
Calico has been hit with a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability has been weakened with a ten-second increase in cooldown and a 20% speed reduction moved to T2. Additionally, the damage from T2 Leaping Slash has been reduced.
Sinclair has received a facelift with updated sounds and animations, and his Rabbit Hex ability has been transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill. Both Holliday and Wraith have also faced nerfs in this update.
The update also touched on items: Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus. Meanwhile, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot have lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively.

This marks the fifth Deadlock update in 2025 and the first for February. Valve has shifted its approach to game development, moving away from a fixed patch schedule to releasing updates as needed. Today's update is a testament to this new strategy.
