Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide Released in Beta

by Samuel Apr 14,2025

If you think *Arise Crossover* is just about collecting Shadow units and attacking helpless enemies, think again! It's easy to get lost in the game, unsure of how to progress, where to level up, or which Shadows to use. This comprehensive guide is here to help you navigate the complexities of *Arise Crossover* and elevate your gameplay.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

*Arise Crossover* features three islands, each with several recruitable Shadows and a formidable dungeon Shadow. While **Soondoo** is the weakest unit you can acquire right at the start, **Mifalcon** reigns supreme as the strongest, found on the final Brum Island.

However, the real game-changer is the ranking system. A **Rank A Soondoo** outperforms a **Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units have the potential to level up further, with **Rank D units capping at Level 75** and **SS Units reaching up to level 200**. The ultimate goal? Building a team of four **SS-level Mifalcons**—a challenging yet rewarding journey.

Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. You can enter a dungeon right before a portal closes and still complete it fully. These portals appear in various locations across the islands, with randomly assigned difficulty ranks.

Start by assembling a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid team and possibly snag a rare boss Shadow Unit. Remember, dungeons are your key to recruiting rare and higher-ranked units.

Whenever a portal spawns, don't hesitate—go for it! Even if your team isn't up to the challenge, position yourself near the portal and wait for other players to join. Many experienced players are willing to help boost newcomers through dungeons. Embrace this community spirit to secure higher-ranking units, as dungeon recruitment is central to progressing in *Arise Crossover*.

Our journey began with just **Rank C units**, but a generous player guided us through a **Rank A dungeon**, allowing us to recruit **Rank A units** and eventually reach the endgame. Later, we returned the favor by helping players with **Rank D units** navigate a **Rank S dungeon**. We encourage you to do the same.

Arise Crossover Weapons

In the current Beta phase, player weapons in *Arise Crossover* are largely ineffective. While they might offer a slight boost early on, their impact diminishes significantly by the second island. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the strongest common weapon available, costs a hefty 60 million and deals only 516,1K damage, a drop in the ocean compared to the millions dealt by your Shadow units. Unless you're looking to splurge, hold off on weapon purchases until future updates enhance their utility.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each one. A server-wide message alerts players when a new mount appears, but you won't always know if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.

Mounts can spawn in six different locations: on one of the islands behind the main ones or on the smaller side islands between major islands. Check the developer's map for precise spawn locations.

You can't claim the same mount more than once, and capturing one isn't guaranteed. **Flying mounts** are the rarest, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts** are more common, and **water mounts** are purchasable from the Boat Shop NPC.

To secure a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the six possible spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount can significantly ease your travels. We're still on the hunt for our flying mount—join us in the quest!

That's the gist of *Arise Crossover* for now. As the game evolves with new updates, we'll keep this beginner's guide fresh. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some exciting freebies.
