Finnish game developer Supercell has made a surprising announcement. Following the closure of their RPG, Clash Heroes, they've revealed a successor: Project R.I.S.E. This isn't simply a relaunch; it's a completely new game.
The Full Story
Clash Heroes is officially cancelled. Confirming earlier speculation, Supercell has shelved the title, mirroring the fate of Clash Mini. However, the Clash universe lives on. Project R.I.S.E., a social action RPG roguelite, will inherit the spirit of its predecessor.
Supercell's announcement video features game lead Julien Le Cadre, who frankly states, "Clash Heroes is dead." The positive news? Project R.I.S.E. remains firmly within the Clash universe and will be a multiplayer action RPG.

Project R.I.S.E. shares DNA with Clash Heroes but is a distinct creation. It's a social action RPG roguelite built from the ground up.Players will team up in threes to explore The Tower, a mysterious location. Each playthrough tackles a different floor, with the ultimate goal being to reach the highest level possible. Unlike its predecessor's focus on solo PvE, Project R.I.S.E. emphasizes cooperative gameplay with a diverse cast of characters.
Currently in pre-alpha, Project R.I.S.E. is slated for its first playtest in early July 2024. Interested players can register on the official website for a chance to participate.
