Get ready, Clash of Clans fans! A monumental update is on the horizon for March 2025, and it’s poised to revolutionize the way you play. Supercell is listening to the community and bringing changes players have been clamoring for, introducing one of the biggest updates in the game's history with some long-standing features soon to be a thing of the past.
No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine attacking back-to-back without any downtime. That’s right, the March 2025 update is removing all training times for troops, spells, and siege machines, making battles more dynamic and fast-paced than ever before. Hero recovery time? Gone! Your heroes will be ready to jump back into the action immediately. This game-changing feature applies to players in the Titan League and below, but if you're in the Legend League, you'll still have an eight-battle limit per day.
This move is part of Supercell's ongoing effort to eliminate outdated mechanics. Remember when training costs were removed in 2022? Now, by completely eliminating training time, Supercell is tearing down artificial barriers, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted gameplay.
With this shift, Training Potions and Training Treats are becoming obsolete. They will be phased out of in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
Ever found yourself waiting for a match? No more! The new Match Anytime system will let you attack snapshot bases when there aren’t enough real bases available. These snapshots are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. You can engage in battles that feel just as real, earning loot and trophies, but the defender won’t lose anything. This system, already familiar from Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is expanding to multiplayer battles.
Alongside these changes, Supercell is adjusting Trophy Curves. With more battles per session on the table, the number of trophies you earn from victories will be reduced. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at a brisk 10 minutes for everyone, ensuring quicker access to reinforcements.
