Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025, where we've all successfully orbited the sun once again. As we kick off this fresh year, let's dive into the most anticipated game releases of 2025 that are set to redefine our gaming experiences.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins
On January 17, Tecmo Koei brings us Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the latest installment in their iconic musou series since 2018. This game leverages the power of current-gen consoles to deliver an unprecedented number of enemies on-screen, all ready to be vanquished with your battle cry of "DIE, NASTY WARRIORS!" You can enjoy this epic battle on PS5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC.

For those who enjoy taking out enemies from a distance, Sniper Elite: Resistance launches on January 30. This installment continues the series' tradition of long-range combat with a focus on historical accuracy and, yes, the infamous Nazi castration scenes. Available on all Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as PC, it promises the same satisfying gameplay that fans love.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 arrives on February 11, continuing the immersive journey of Henry of Skalitz in the historical setting of 14th century Bohemia. This sequel promises deep role-playing mechanics and a vast open world, available on current-gen consoles and PC.

On the same day, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 will be released across nearly every platform, excluding mobile. This iconic strategy game series, now in its seventh iteration, challenges you to lead your civilization through the ages with its famous "4X" gameplay mechanics.
