They pursue vampires, whom they call "Hollow Ones," under the guise of "training exercises" and "counter-terrorism efforts."
Leading the charge in Seattle is Agent Baker, known as "The Hen" among her followers due to her authoritative and disciplined approach. As a pragmatist, Baker is relentlessly focused on the permanent eradication of vampires. She delves deep into historical records and investigates unusual events to unravel the secrets of the vampire underworld.
The IAB's hunters are a well-coordinated force, with robust security measures guarding their base both inside and out. Confronting them solo is a daunting task, as they work in teams, use spotlights for surveillance, and maintain constant communication via portable radios. In combat, they wield thermic batons that can bypass defensive tactics, and phosphorous grenades to flush enemies from hiding. Their sniper crossbows shoot explosive bolts that can cause massive damage if not swiftly removed.
Despite their prowess, the hunters have their vulnerabilities. They are physically weaker than both ghouls and vampires, making them susceptible to certain countermeasures. For instance, players with the Fire skill can intercept grenades or bolts and hurl them back at the attackers.
